Default Low DPS Assassin

[card]Locust's Fury[/card][card]Critical Eye[/card][card]Critical Defenses[/card][card]Caltrops[/card][card]Flail[/card][card]Death's Charge[/card][card]Way of Perfection[/card][card]Shadow Refuge[/card]

Attributes:
Dagger Mastery - 11 + 1 +2
Critical Strikes - 11 + 1
Shadow Arts - 5

(Not sure if Shadow Arts can go that high. If it can go higher, or not that high, make it lesser/higher)

You can also change out [card]Flail[/card] with either [card]Flurry[/card] or [card]Frenzy[/card].....Depending on what you will be encountering.

Usage:
This build is entirely DPS and glass cannon. Glass cannon meaning deadly, but also very fragile. Empathy or Insidious Parasite will rape this build into oblivion in about 3 seconds or less.

Equipment:
Vampiric Weapon with +15% Damage (while Enchanted) and +30 HP thingy
Enough Equipment to have at least 30 or 35 energy to maintain Locust's Fury, Critical Eye, and Way of Perfection.

.. Sry but 2 points ;

1 : Assasins aren't ment for dps or semi-pressure but for spiking
2 : moebius + "insert assasin skills " would get higher dps =)

Nice try on the build though =) give it a try in RA and compare it with other builds

Half of the assassin builds I use are pressure and DPS, guess what? They're better than most of the assassins out there. And FYI? I'm sick and tired of people saying "Moebius this, Moebius that". Sheesh, you see that frickin stupid elite in EVERY build. Make something original already. Also, guess what? If you go against a standard melee with this build, you always win. No one can continiously block (standard melee, keep in mind), and I'm continiously wailing on him with Crit Defs, Way of Perfection, which is about 100 health about every 4 seconds, then Shadow Refuge, and also Death's Charge. And you also can't keep that DPS up with the Assassin skills 24/7 without constantly spamming Deadly Paradox. >_>

'against standard melee' ---> teh lulz. AL80 (assuming you have the brains to swap to Ele daggers) means daggers do shite even on crits. Hell, he might get away with just Mending.

About 6 Sin Elites are PvP worthy atm. LF is certainly not one of them.

Follow Pyro's link plz.

It may be a "stupid elite" but moebius allows you to constantly spam "high dps" since an assassin's true strength is using the +damage skills and not trying to rely on low damage auto attacking.

No one cares about block when the main thing that kills you in PvE are 600 damage spirit rifts and 300 damage bsurges.

You are basing your whole build around 7-17 damage daggers? When assassins have skills that can deal 100-200 damage easy? I smell fail.

Want to know what Moebius is used often? Because its pretty good.

Original does not mean good, it means no-one else uses it. And often, there is a good reason for that.

edit: the idea of a frenzy sin trying to dps scares me. Trying to go toe to toe with enemies when you have the equivilent of 30 armor is suicide. You lose for even mentioning that skill on a sin.

If locusts fury works on scythes, that might be relatively hot. As it stands now, the DPS is probably even lower than most non-moebius combos.

I lol'd when I saw this.

[skill]Moebius Strike[/skill] is win. The reason everyone uses it, is because it has the best PvE DPS. If your no combo build was better, then today you would be trying to promote a Moebius sin, but that's not the case now is it?

What is this, what's the purpose of this build? Clearly not dps... Because you're depending on crits from 7-17 weapon.

And FYI- nobody cares if it's more original than Moebius Spam. Moebius Spam is simply better, has higer DPS and even allows you to put other skill (I use Save Yourselves to do something with that adrenaline).

And Locust's Fury sucks

Uh, heh, NO. I don't use it in PvE, only in PvP. (Not much organization in Gladiator's Arena), and it does quite well. x.x
